Our roles in these moments of pause are to be consistent. Persistently show up to the things that matter, and perhaps use this time to step away for a breath too.

It’s a constant practice to balance intention and action. Be intentional, but for goodness sake, just take the first darn step forward. I was clinging to perfection. The desire to make the best possible decision was holding me back from making a single decision.

With a 90 day experiment the heaviness is removed from trying something new. The pressure for success is removed. It’s just an experiment. In 90 days time I can get a clear idea of whether this is a good solution, a great hire, or an effective choice.

Consistent work towards completion of a project is made up of hundreds of small steps. Completing each one of these in full will help us move our focus to the next task on the list.
